I've not been keeping track of skinning issues recently so 3 Questions I'd appreciate feedback about.

Question One

Are there any plans to format a  'lite' option that would allow for the My Colors subscriber themes to be downloaded  by Object Desktop subscribers directly into WindowBlinds as a basic WindowBlind - in the same way as present subscriber offerings are,  rather than have the My Colors suite management program?

Question Two

For a new subscriber, or for a present subscriber with a newly installed OS, is there any value to installing Stardock Central, or has Impulse now completely superseded this option?

Question Three

On a different theme:-

Is it possible to go beyond what's been said, or not been said really, and frame the commitment to SS6 documentation in a way that's useful?  Is it an active project with a definitive timescale or is it more of an item on a wishlist?

Thanks.

Question One

I'd like to see that - been staying away from the MyColors for now based on the stuff I've read so far

Question Two

Impulse seems to still be beta and hasn't yet superseded SDC as far as I can tell - being on dial up SDC works better for me since it only wants to check for updates to my apps, not the entire impulse universe

I believe there is now a policy in place which allows you to request your serial #s at support.stardock.com and they come with links to "zipped" versions which do not have the "MyColors" requirement. I know this is true for Gloss Burgundy because I've got it that way myself.

For Q2..what Bichur said....although Impulse 2 is coming very soon.

For Q3....bump

Thanks fellas, much appreciated

Hopefully Stardock support will confirm where possible, and enlighten where needed.

You can now enter your e-mail here and retrieve you registration info.  There will links to an alternate download for the "extras" such as the WindowBlinds theme.  However, this is not for all MyColors themes.

While SDC is still supported, Impulse is the replacement and I would always recommend using that over SDC.  Eventually, SDC will be phased out.

The SkinStudio 6 documentation is done.  It's just needs to find a home on the server somewhere and it will be available.
