Just occured to check in my Vista snapshot to see if TGA thumbnails were visible natively - appears not.

Thumb Plug TGA available from http://greggman.com/pages/thumbplug_tga.htm   is an old standby for making TGA thumbnails visible in XP

Is this still a preferred option for XP, and what if anything is the preferred option for Vista?

WWW Link

It's based on Greggman's code (with permission)
Says Vista/XP but since I have XP I'm not sure it works on Vista. Gives you a couple extra formats as well such as PSD.

That's nice how they added PSD thumbnails.

Many thanks for the link Lantec - looks just the ticket, particularly the .psd facility.
